Fantasy Sports League is built on the principle that outcomes are determined by player skill. We are committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and enjoyable experience for all participants. This policy outlines how we ensure integrity across the platform.
Skill-Based Competition
This is not a betting or gambling platform. Fantasy points are earned based on real-world player performances. Your success depends on your skill in:
- Selecting the right players within the 100-credit budget.
- Choosing the optimal Captain (2x) and Vice-Captain (1.5x).
- Strategically applying seasonal boosters.
- Analyzing player form, match conditions, and team composition.
Anti-Fraud Measures
We employ multiple layers of protection:
- Email uniqueness: Enforced at the database level. One email = one account.
- IP logging: All registration and login attempts are logged.
- Device fingerprinting: Hashed client-side to detect multi-accounting without storing raw device data.
- Rate limiting: Login (5/15min), registration (3/hr), team submission (10/hr).
- Manual review: Suspicious activity is flagged for admin review. We do not use automated bans.
Transparent Scoring
All scoring rules are published and applied uniformly. The fantasy points engine follows a deterministic 14-step calculation pipeline. The same player performance data produces the same points for every user.
- Scoring rules are stored in the database and loaded per sport — not hardcoded.
- Captain and booster multipliers follow documented rules (highest wins, no stacking).
- Tie-breaking is deterministic: lower credits used wins, then earlier submission timestamp.
Transparent Prizes
- Season reward pools are publicly disclosed before league payouts are created.
- Season reward pools are funded entirely by sponsors, never by user entry fees.
- Every payout is executed on-chain with a published transaction hash.
- Anyone can verify payments using a blockchain explorer.
Prohibited Behavior
- Operating multiple accounts (multi-accounting).
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools for team submissions.
- Colluding with other users to manipulate rankings.
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them.
- Sharing account credentials with others.
Dispute Resolution
If you believe a scoring error or unfair outcome has occurred, contact us at disputes@fantasyleague.com. All disputes are reviewed by a moderator within 48 hours. Decisions are logged in the audit trail for accountability.
Reporting Violations
If you suspect another user is violating this policy, report it to fairplay@fantasyleague.com. All reports are investigated confidentially. We do not disclose reporter identities.
